החברה הישראלית לקידום אבחון, טיפול ומניעה של פגיעה מינית (היפ"ם), הינה חברת בת אינטרדיסציפלינרית הפועלת תחת ההסתדרות הרפואית בישראל. 

פגיעה מינית הינה תופעה נפוצה ביותר. אחת מכל שלוש נשים נפגעת מפגיעה מינית כלשהי במהלך חייה. אחת מבין ארבע נשים ואחד מבין חמישה גברים היו קורבן לפגיעה מינית בילדות (Child Sexual Abuse- (CSA. לפגיעה מינית ישנן השלכות  נרחבות בכלל תחומי החיים. בין היתר קיימות השלכות בריאותיות רחבות היקף, הן בתחום בריאות הגוף והן בתחום בריאות הנפש.  בין היתר נמצא קשר בין פגיעה מינית להתפתחות סוכרת, כאב כרוני, פיברומיאלגיה, הריון בסיכון גבוה וסיבוכי לידה, קשיים בתפקוד המיני, בעיות במערכת העיכול ותסמונת המעי הרגיז. בתחום הנפשי, פגיעה מינית נמצאה כמעלה סיכון להתפתחות דכאון, הפרעות חרדה, פגיעות עצמיות, שימוש בסמים, הפרעות אכילה, הפרעות פסיכוטיות, הפרעה פוסט טראומטית מורכבת וסיכון של עד פי 9 לניסיונות אובדניים. בנוסף, להיסטוריה של פגיעה מינית ישנן השלכות על המפגש הרפואי ועל צריכת שירותי בריאות מוגברת מחד, ונטייה להימנעות מצריכת שירותי בריאות והזנחה מאידך, מאחר והמפגש הרפואי ובדיקות (בעיקר פולשניות) עלולות לשחזר את חווית הפגיעה. לעתים אף נוצרת רה טראומטיזציה של שורדות/ים במערכת הבריאות, בשל מחסור בכלים ומודעות לטיפול רגיש-טראומה בקרב הצוותים הרפואיים. 

היפ"ם הוקמה במרץ 2019 ומטרתה להוות בית מקצועי לקידום המודעות להשלכות הבריאותיות של פגיעה מינית, ריכוז הידע הנוגע לטיפול, הכשרת צוותים מקצועיים וקידום מחקר בתחום.
